Dubai media office rejects reports of explosions in the city

Loud explosions were heard above downtown Dubai on Thursday evening as missiles were reportedly intercepted over the city amid renewed Iranian attacks on Emirati targets.

Axar.az reports, citing Euronews, that loud booms were heard over downtown Dubai on Thursday evening with eyewitness reports of missile interceptions above the city.

Dubai Media Office has since issued a statement clarifying that the explosions did not occur in the city and urging residents to rely on official communications from the authorities.
