Fidan reaffirms Turkiye's support for Ukraine

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said his visit to Ukraine was "highly productive," stressing that the strategic partnership between Ankara and Kyiv continues to strengthen.

Axar.az reports in a post on X, Fidan said he held comprehensive talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Russia–Ukraine war.

Fidan reaffirmed Turkiye's support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, adding that Ankara remains ready to back any initiative aimed at bringing the parties back to the negotiating table and achieving lasting peace.
