Kremlin: Trump cites unsubstantiated intelligence

U.S. President Donald Trump, in describing Russia as a supposed threat to elections in the country, is relying on unsubstantiated and anonymous intelligence information.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remarks during a briefing.

“The president of the United States is referring to anonymous, unsubstantiated information provided by U.S. intelligence agencies,” he said.

The Kremlin spokesman recalled that all investigations carried out by Washington concluded that “Russia did not influence the elections in the United States in any way.”
