Trump seeks stronger cooperation with Georgia

U.S. President Donald Trump said he looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Georgia to support its sovereignty, security, and long-term prosperity.

Axar.az informs, citing Georgian media, that Trump made the remark in a letter to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"By working together in support of sovereignty, security, and lasting prosperity, we can continue to achieve meaningful progress. I look forward to strengthening our cooperation as we pursue a more secure, prosperous, and peaceful future together," he said.

Trump also thanked Kobakhidze for his congratulations on the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.

"Independence Day marks the founding of our nation and celebrates the enduring spirit of freedom, resilience, and determination that defines the American people," the letter added.
