Three killed in US strikes on southern Iran

At least three people were killed and eight others were injured in attacks on Iran's southern Hormozgan province.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that the deputy governor of Hormozgan for political, security and social affairs said the casualties resulted from what he described as "enemy attacks" on several parts of the province.

Earlier reports said that 38 people, including women and children, were killed in U.S. strikes on Iran earlier this month.

It should be noted that the United States resumed its strikes on Iran on July 8.
