Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with corps commanders defending the most intense sections of the front to discuss the battlefield situation, logistics, and military supplies.
Axar.az reports that Zelensky announced the meeting in a post on Facebook.
According to the Ukrainian president, the discussions focused on combat operations in the Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Oleksandrivka directions, as well as in the Kharkiv region and other difficult sectors of the front.
Zelensky said the commanders stressed the importance of Ukraine's personnel distribution program for combat brigades, which has been in place since December and, according to them, has proven effective.
The meeting also covered the supply of weapons and equipment, troop rotations, protection of Ukrainian logistics, and attacks on Russian logistics. Zelensky said Ukraine needs more long-range artillery, including 155 mm shells, and additional capabilities for medium-range strikes.
He also thanked Ukrainian developers and manufacturers of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), calling increased deliveries of the systems a priority for the armed forces. Zelensky added that the participants reviewed Russian military objectives and Ukraine's plans for active defense.
