WSJ: Iran adapts to US defense systems

Iran has adapted to U.S. defenses, firing missiles that travel at extremely high speeds and can maneuver as they streak toward the earth, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Axar.az informs, citing foreign media, that the report said Tehran's growing strike capabilities have raised concerns within the U.S. military.

On the same day, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that American forces had completed another wave of strikes against Iran, targeting observation posts, military logistics facilities, underground arsenals and maritime infrastructure. Fighter jets, drones and warships were used in the operation.

The WSJ also reported that U.S. President Donald Trump, following consultations with senior advisers, has become more inclined to expand military operations against Iran, including intensified bombing campaigns and strikes on the country's energy infrastructure.
