A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul Region overnight.
Axar.az reports that the information was released by the Kyrgyz Seismology Institute.
According to the institute, the earthquake was felt at an intensity of 5 in the villages of Ottuk and Kazan-Kuygan; 4 in Jerge-Tal, Kyzyl-Jyldyz, Echki-Bashy, and Emgekchil; and 3 in Kuybysheva, Shoro, Vosmoe Marta, Ak-Talaa, Dostuk, Jan-Bulak, Min-Bulak, Jalgyz-Terek, Orto-Saz, Ak-Kyya, Orto-Nura, Kenesh, and the city of Naryn.
There have been no official reports of casualties, injuries, or damage.
