Ukraine launches mass drone attack on Moscow region

The Ukrainian military launched a large-scale drone attack on the Moscow region overnight into July 20.

Axar.az informs according to the reports, the strikes sparked a fire at one of Wildberries' largest logistics centers in the Podolsk urban district.

"A fuel depot in the Lvivsky neighborhood, south of Podolsk, was also attacked. In total, five fires were recorded across the Moscow region. A drone strike also caused a fire at a major logistics hub in the Yuzhnye Vorota (Southern Gates) industrial park in the Domodedovo district, which covers more than 650,000 square meters. In addition, one of the drones crashed into a high-rise residential building," the reports said.

According to Domodedovo Hospital, six people, including three foreign nationals, were admitted with blast-related injuries of varying severity.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that more than 400 drones headed toward the Moscow region between 8:30 p.m. on Sunday and 5:00 a.m. on Monday.
