Kremlin: Russia ready to resume dialogue with Europe

Russia remains open to dialogue with European countries and has never been the initiator of the breakdown in relations.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"Germany has taken no practical steps toward normalizing relations with Moscow. There have been no direct contacts with U.S. representatives in recent days; only technical communication has continued through diplomatic channels. The Kremlin would welcome a possible meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio," he said.
