Fedorov turned down the positions offered by Zelensky

Ukraine's ousted defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov turned down President Volodymyr Zelensky's offer to become Deputy Prime Minister for Military Innovation.

Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainian media, that Fedorov told journalists that he rejected the position.

Fedorov said that in 2026, his team presented the Defense Ministry with a concrete plan to end the war.

"Today, apart from the soldiers on the battlefield, there are only three positions that truly determine the course of the war: the president, the defense minister, and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Therefore, I will not accept any position other than defense minister," he said.
