Omar Mohammed Roshdy Saraj, a commander responsible for supply and maintenance in Hamas’ Gaza City unit, was killed in a strike in the Sabra area.

Axar.az reports, citing the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), that Saraj was responsible for supplying weapons to Hamas operatives in Gaza City.

Another member of Hamas’ military wing was also killed in the strike.

The military said the operatives had recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and sought to restore Hamas’ capabilities in violation of the ceasefire.

The IDF said measures were taken to reduce civilian harm, including precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
