Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, who has been heading Russia’s North Caucasian republic of Ingushetia since 2008, has announced his plans to resign.
Axar.az reports citing TASS.
"I have made a decision to ask Russian President Vladimir Putin to sign my early resignation," he said in a televised address to the republic’s residents on Monday.
