A magnitude 5.6 earthquake shook the coast of Japan.

Axar.az reports that, this was reported by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The quake struck at 18:19 UTC, 429 km south of Nagoya. The epicenter was located at a depth of 388 km. No casualties or damage were reported.

No tsunami alert was issued.
