The coronavirus vaccine will first be given to health workers and the country's elderly.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Deputy Health Minister Oleg Gridnev.

According to him, the vaccine prepared by the National Research Center named after Gamaley will be registered on August 12.

Currently, the third and final stage of confirming the safety of the vaccine is underway.

The Deputy Minister of Health said that after the last stage, it will be possible to assess the effectiveness of the vaccine.
