US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta visited Azerbaijan’s Terter district on June 17.

The ambassador has met with the head of the Terter district executive authority Mustagim Mammadov.

The Terter executive authority head informed the ambassador about the current situation on the frontline and the damage caused to the district settlements as a result of the Armenian shelling with prohibited weapons in early April.

It was noted that agricultural workers of the district also came under Armenian sniper fire in April.

Ambassador Cekuta will visit the Terter district vocational training centre, where he will meet with officials of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and IDPs.
