Turkic leaders will gather on this date

The next summit of the Turkic Council will be held on November 12, 2021, in Istanbul.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoghlu. He said that historic steps would be taken for the Turkic Council at the 8th summit of Turkic heads of state.

Cavushoghlu said Turkmenistan would attend the Istanbul summit as an observer.

It should be noted that the Turkic Council has existed since 2009. Its members are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Turkmenistan does not join the organization, saying it is a neutral country. Hungary has observer status in the organization.
