At the Madrid summit, NATO member states will agree on a full aid package for Ukraine.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
He said the Madrid summit was crucial for NATO:
"For the first time since the end of World War II, 30 allied countries are meeting in Europe to discuss the biggest security crisis."
Stoltenberg noted that Russia and Ukraine will be at the centre of the issues to be discussed:
"We will also look for other threats, including terrorism or instability in North Africa and the Sahel. This will strengthen our efforts to cooperate with the southern countries. We will agree on a new package of support for Mauritania in order to strengthen the fight against terrorism, border control and defence and security. "
The Madrid summit will be held on June 28-30.
