The "Leopard 2" main battle tank, produced in Germany and first presented in 1979, is considered by experts to be one of the most powerful combat tanks in the world.

According to information, the main features that distinguish this tank from other tanks are its high maneuverability and firepower. "Leopard 2" owes its firepower to the 120 mm gun manufactured by "Rheinmetall". 1500 horsepower engines also ensure high maneuverability in the tank.

More than 3,500 Leopard 2 tanks produced by the German company "Krauss Maffei Wegmann" are actively used in the armed forces of 19 countries of the world, including Turkiye. It works with a crew of 4 people, its speed reaches 70 kilometers per hour.

It should be noted that sending the German-made "Leopard 2" tank to Ukraine is on the agenda. However, Germany has not yet announced whether it will allow the export of battle tanks to Ukraine.
