Ankara opposes the expansion of military conflicts in the region, as well as the entry of new warships into the Black Sea.
Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Cavushoghlu said this.
"The dictated peace will not be recognized: neither Ukraine nor Russia will agree to it," he said.
Turkiye's chief diplomat reminded that Ankara has defended the integrity of Ukraine since the very beginning of the conflict and does not support the entry of military ships into the Black Sea.
At the same time, he once again emphasized that the parties should sit down at the negotiating table to end the military conflict.
"We called on the parties to make contact. Ankara has excellent relations with both countries. That is why we did not support the sanctions. However, of course, we strictly follow the requirements of the Montreux Convention and reject war."
