1 million developers and drone operators are wanted to meet Russia's needs.

Axar.az reports that "Vedomosti" was informed about this by sources in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

"Now there are not enough specialists, so active work is being done to find people who can assemble and operate the devices," the news emphasized.

According to the Ministry, the demand for operators and assemblers will increase several times by 2030. Currently, the vacancy rate is only 10 percent. The Ministry of Industry and Trade needs about a hundred thousand people to adapt. The total need may be about 600,000 people by 2030.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia is analyzing the market and looking for specialists for vacant positions. It is said that the era of UAVs will develop and their demand will increase even more - this was clearly shown by the special operation in Ukraine, where drones played an almost central role.

It should be noted that new UAV models are already being developed in a number of regions of Russia.
