According to Serhiy Cherevaty, the coherence of the trained reserves and the availability of new equipment are extremely important factors of the future counteroffensive.

Axar.az reports that the spring counteroffensive Armed Forces of Ukraine will happen when “all the necessary components” are present.

This was stated by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Cherevaty, during a telethon on March 18.

Answering the question whether Ukrainians do not have overly optimistic expectations of the future counteroffensive, Cherevaty noted that one should be optimistic, but optimists based on reality. “Therefore, in view of this, we must look in retrospect – what we have achieved in a year. We managed to hold the capital, push back the enemy from it. Push back the enemy from the north, from Kharkiv region, from Liman and from Kherson,” he said.
