Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian met with Leonid Slutsky, head of the International Relations Committee of the Russian State Duma, during his visit to Moscow.

Axar.az reports that cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, as well as relations in the military field, were discussed at the meeting.

"Our joint efforts are aimed at strengthening infrastructure necessary for trade, tourism and scientific-technical cooperation, as well as cooperation in the defense sector," Abdullahian said.

It should be noted that the Iranian Foreign Minister met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov earlier.
