There was a telephone conversation between US Deputy Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Kahl and Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has released information about this.

It was reported that a number of issues related to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and regional security were discussed.

Defense Minister Suren Papikyan informed about the progress of the agreements reached on the development of Armenian-American defense cooperation as a result of the discussions held with Kahl during his business trip to the United States in September 2022.

It should be noted that Colin Kahl previously had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov.
