Armenia is preparing to buy arms and military equipment worth 1 billion dollars from India.

Axar.az reports that information about this was spread on Telegram channels.

There is no information yet about the list of weapons and military equipment to be purchased.

It should be noted that the information was released at a time when the Commander of the Indian National Defense College, Lieutenant General Singh Dahiya was on a visit to Yerevan and met with the Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan.

Earlier, India sent military equipment, including howitzers, to Armenia.
