On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the world's largest animation studio, The Walt Disney Studio, a jubilee event was held in Baku on December 3 as part of the "Creative Week" under the organization of the Ministry of Culture.

Axar.az reports that the event organized at the Nizami Cinema Center took place with the support of the Azerbaijan Animation Association.

It was noted at the event that "The Walt Disney Company", founded by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney in 1923, quickly became a leader in American animation. He achieved his first big success in 1928 with "Mickey Mouse", which has not lost its relevance to this day.

It has been pointed out that "Disney" revolutionized animation in 1937 with the first full-length animated film "The Tree and the Seven Dwarfs". Today, Disney is a multimedia giant known for its movies, characters, and theme parks.

In the end, the movie "Mulan" (1998) was shown.
