Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received his newly appointed Minister of Defense, Dauren Kosanov.

"During the meeting, the head of state gave several specific instructions on strengthening the combat readiness of the army, introducing digital solutions to the management system, expanding the capabilities of the Special Operations Forces, increasing the effectiveness of social and ideological work, as well as modernizing military infrastructure," the report said.

It should be noted that today, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Dauren Kosanov as the new Minister of Defense.
