A Russian ship sank in the Caspian Sea

A small passenger ship sank on the Russian coast of the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az reports that the Investigative Committee of Russia has released information about this.

According to the information, there was 1 captain and 2 passengers on the ship.

"According to preliminary information, due to bad weather conditions in the Caspian Sea, the ship overturned under the influence of a wave while moving about 7 km from the coastline, and the people on board fell into the water.

As a result, 2 people on the ship went missing, and 1 person was rescued. The rescued person was admitted to the hospital," the information said.

Currently, the search for the missing persons continues.
