Azerbaijan announces squad for June training camp

The squad for the Azerbaijan national team’s June training camp and upcoming friendlies has been announced.

Axar.az reports that the national team will train in Baku from May 28 to 30 before heading to Austria for a training camp in Bad Waltersdorf from June 1 to 10.

As part of the camp, Azerbaijan will play two friendly matches — against Malta on June 5 and San Marino on June 9.

Both matches will be held at Haladas Stadium in Szombathely, Hungary, with kick-off scheduled for 22:00 Baku time.

The players called up to the squad are:

Goalkeepers:
Rza Jafarov (Gabala), Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev (Qarabag), Emil Balayev (Neftchi).

Defenders:
