Leonid Slutsky, the candidate for the presidency of Russia, head of the Liberal Democratic Party, and chairman of the Duma's committee met with the Russian soldiers who participated in the Avdeyevka operation in Luhansk.
Axar.az reports concerning the Russian media that he congratulated the military for taking Avdeyevka into custody.
Slutsky emphasized that just as the battles of Stalingrad and Kursk went down in the history of the Great Patriotic War, the Avdeyevka operation will also go down in the history of the "special military operation".
He also said that military operations in Ukraine will end with Russia's victory this year.
The party leader added that Kherson, the entire right bank, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Sviatogorsk and Liman must be "liberated" to complete the operations.
