Armenia does not yet see steps towards opening the border from Turkiye, but hopes that the previously reached agreements will be implemented.
Axar.az reports that this was said by the vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament, special representative for negotiations with Ankara, Ruben Rubinyan.
According to Rubinyan, Armenia has completed all the works for the opening of the "Margara" checkpoint, and the entire infrastructure is ready.
He emphasized that he did not agree with what was said about the lack of meeting and dialogue.
"The foreign ministers of the two countries met at the diplomatic forum held in Antalya at the end of February 2024."
It should be noted that in July 2022, the parties agreed to open the border for citizens of third countries in the first stage.
