Israel is negotiating the transfer of 8 "Patriot" complexes to Ukraine. They are 30 years old, Israel wants to decommission them and give them to Ukraine, and in exchange they will buy a new one from the USA. If this happens, Russia will likely transfer new missile systems to the Lebanese army.

Axar.az reports that Russian expert Sergey Markov said these words while commenting on the information that Israel wants to send 8 "Patriot" systems to Ukraine through the United States.

Markov noted that if Russia gives Lebanon new missile systems, it will cause Israel to need more Patriots to defend against Hezbollah:

"But this will lead to a catastrophic deterioration of relations between Russia and Israel. And this deterioration will lead to a sharp deterioration of the situation in Syria for Israel."
