The delegation of Belarus was not admitted to the 31st session of the OSCE PA in Bucharest.
Axar.az reports that the Belarusian parliament has released information about this.
It was reported that official Bucharest refused to issue visas to deputies representing the country's legislative body. It was noted that this step is contrary to the basic principles of the OSCE:
"Belarus actively participates in the meeting of the OSCE PA. In 2017, our country successfully hosted the 26th session of the institution. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is an open and inclusive dialogue platform, which is considered important, especially in the current tense political situation. The fact that the delegation of Belarus was not admitted to the work of this meeting is a clear example of open discrimination. In this regard, the delegation of Belarus does not recognize any decision to be taken against our country during the session."
It should be noted that the next session of the OSCE PA will be held in Romania from June 29 to July 3.
