Due to abnormal heat, a strong forest fire started in Menderes district of Izmir province of Turkiye.

It was reported that the scale of the fire is increasing due to strong wind.

4 planes, 8 helicopters, 25 water tankers were involved in extinguishing the fire.

Besides, forest fires started in Keles district of Bursa province. Both air and land interventions are used to extinguish the fire.
