Putin promised Modi that he will expel Indians from the army

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded positively to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's request and said that all Indian citizens recruited into the Russian army will be demobilized.

Axar.az reports that NDTV reported this with reference to an informed source.

The source said that Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Russia, raised this issue at a dinner with Putin, and Putin said that he would consider this request.

It should be noted that earlier it was said that Modi will ask Putin for this and will try to demobilize the Indians involved in the fighting in Ukraine.
