Making a deal with Russia to end the war is like making a deal with the devil.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhail Podoliak, in an interview with "Associated Press".

He said such a deal would only buy Russian leader Volodymyr Putin time to build up his military and begin a new, potentially more brutal phase of the war.
