A 4.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in the US state of Texas.

Axar.az reports that this was reported on the website of the US Geological Survey.

It was reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 23 km east of the city of Snyder with a population of 11,700 people. The earthquake was at a depth of 1.9 km.

There are no reports of casualties or damages.
