Explosion in the industrial zone: 5 dead, 14 injured

An explosion occurred in an industrial zone in China's Henan province.

Axar.az informs that China Central Television reported on this.

It was reported that at least 5 people died and 14 people were injured as a result of the incident.

The cause of the explosion was a malfunction of the equipment intended for the production of aluminum ingots at the factory of the "Zhongrui Nonferrous" company.

It was noted that the police detained the persons responsible for the operation of the facility.

The details of the incident are being investigated.
