Turkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has warned the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, that he will be assassinated before his visit to Iran.

Axar.az informs that Turkish media reported on this.

It was reported that suspicious activities were detected in connection with I. Haniyeh, who came to Turkiye after the murder of her family members. Thus, MIT has strengthened security measures in the country regarding I. Haniyeh.

It was noted that MIT warned I. Haniyeh about the use of mobile devices, the Internet and land transport on the eve of his visit to Tehran.

According to the information, MIT prevented an assassination attempt against I. Haniya twice before - in Istanbul and Doha.

Turkiye's law enforcement agencies have pointed out that they are closely monitoring the process and are ready to exchange views with Iran on the issue.

It should be noted that I. Haniyeh was killed on July 31 while participating in the swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. After that, Iranian officials made a statement that I. Haniyeh will be avenged.
