The election of Yahya Sinwar as the new head of the Hamas Political Bureau is a way to deprive Israel of hope for the future.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Lieutenant General Abdulrahim Mousavi.

"Yesterday, the appointment of Yahya Sinwar as the head of the Hamas Political Bureau showed the path chosen by the Palestinians and Hamas. This choice means that the Zionist regime will have no hope for the future," he said.

Mousavi compared the Israeli government to wild tribes:

"But even savages have followed some norms. Israel violates all international rules and laws."
