Itamar Ben-Gvira, the Minister of National Security of Israel, should be sanctioned.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the head of the diplomatic service of the European Union (EU) Josep Borrell.

"At a time when the whole world is trying to achieve a cease-fire in Gaza, Ben-Gvir is calling for a cutoff of water and electricity to the civilian population. This challenge is a war crime. Sanctions should be on the agenda of the EU," he said.

It should be noted that this is the first call for sanctions against the Israeli leadership by a representative of the EU institution.
