Mongolia's energy dependence complicates the arrest of Vladimir Putin based on the International Criminal Court's warrant.

Axar.az reports that a representative of the Mongolian government stated this in a comment to "Politico."

According to the representative, energy dependence puts Mongolia, which is caught between Russia and China, in a difficult position.

"Mongolia imports 95% of its petroleum products and more than 20% of its electricity from its close neighbors. This supply is very important for ensuring our and our people's existence. Mongolia has always maintained a policy of neutrality in all its diplomatic relations," he said.
