President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has warned about the possibility of removal of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky by Ukrainian agents.
Axar.az reports that the leader of Belarus said this in an interview with one of the Russian TV channels, and a part of the interview was published in the media.
He said that Kirill Budanov, the head of the General Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, will be the executive.
"You (Volodymyr Zelensky) should not be happy, you will become a traitor to your people. And in the end, the same Kirill Budanov will send someone - you will be eliminated as a traitor. That's all," Lukashenko stressed in an interview with the TV channel.
Lukashenko also expressed the opinion that Zelensky should not rely on the support of the United States and Great Britain and said that he would be a traitor to his people if he accepted the offer of the Ukrainian leader to move to the West.
Lukashenko spoke about the need to resume negotiations on Ukraine based on the agreements reached in Istanbul a while ago and emphasized that this could be a suitable basis for the further resolution of the conflict.
