US pledges $250m more in aid to Ukraine

U.S. President Joe Biden will announce a new $250 million aid package for Ukraine today.

Axar.az reports that U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated this during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Germany.

According to him, the new security aid package will help meet Ukraine's needs.

The U.S. Secretary of Defense also assured that new aid to Ukraine will be sent in accordance with the pace of the war.

Austin also reminded that the U.S. has committed to providing more than $4 billion in aid to Ukraine.
