Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the dissolution of local councils (self-governing bodies - Note) and set the time for new elections.

Axar.az reports that the relevant order was posted on the website of the press service of the head of state of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the document, elections of new deputies to local councils in all regions of Kyrgyzstan will be held on November 17, 2024.
