Turkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Syria's President Bashar al-Assad may hold their first meeting in many years in October in Kazan.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the newspaper "Milliyet."

It is noted that the meeting is expected to take place during the BRICS summit.

It should be mentioned that Erdogan has stated he is ready to meet with the Syrian president.
