Moscow's Savelyevsky Court has sentenced Armenian-Russian journalist and blogger Karen Shainyan to absentia imprisonment.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by REN TV.

Shainyan has been charged with financing extremist activities in absentia.

It is noted that Russia has been searching for Shainyan since August of last year. In July, “Rosfinmonitoring” included him on the list of terrorists and extremists. He actively promotes LGBT interests and has created his own YouTube channel for this purpose.
