A free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia may be signed in the near future.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Denis Manturov, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

"Colleagues from the Eurasian Economic Commission are already in the final stages of negotiations. Russia, as a participant country, has already resolved all its issues. If the Indonesian side receives a representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission by the end of the year, then I believe that the work will be completed soon, and the agreement will be signed," Manturov stated.
