Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili will not go to the General Prosecutor's Office on October 26, where she was summoned in connection with the possible falsification of the parliamentary elections.

Axar.az reports that the president himself informed about this.

"Everyone should do their own work. I will continue my work as the president and I obviously have no intention of going to the prosecutor's office," he said.

According to him, the investigative body should find the evidence of a specific case by itself, and should not demand it from the president.

Zurabishvili also noted that his summons to the prosecutor's office suspiciously coincides with the statement of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.

It should be noted that earlier Medvedev said in his statement that the standard response to Zurabishvili's actions, which caused unrest in his country, would be his dismissal and arrest.

Immediately after that, the General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia called President Salome Zurabishvili to be interrogated for the opinions she voiced regarding the falsification of the last parliamentary elections.
