The Russian Ministry of Defense proposed to return 935 Ukrainian prisoners of war in 2024, of which Kyiv has accepted only 279.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.

"Do you know how many people the Kyiv regime agreed to take back? Only 279. This means almost 700 people could have returned to their families in Ukraine," Zakharova stated.
